The rolling roads of Basque country

Our host for the week Ken put us in touch with a local, Paul, who kindly offered to take us out on a ride. He said it would be a nice easy on one some rolling roads and flats.

Rolling roads! We ended up doing 55 miles on a route that was as tough as some of the sportives we’ve done. It was worth it though as the roads and the views were stunning. Cycling south of Pau is like being a kid in a sweet shop.

Taking on Hautacan tomorrow with tired legs so its going to be tough. Thena rest day and finally a big ride with Paul taking in some local Cols.
