Training round up
2 rides totaling 49 miles. Heavier rowing training this week and icy mornings preventing riding to training. Not sure how well I would manage cycling and a double outing in the boats at the moment anyway. Something to build up to as the weather improves. Think I’m going to drop circuits on a Tuesday in favour of a long ride, minimum 40 miles.
Lowlight of the week
Pulled over to wait for two team mates and in doing so I got a problem with my front wheel. Took 10 minutes to fix. No one came back, no one waited and they didn’t stick to the route so I never saw them again. Not a nice feeling as it was night time and it could have been something more serious. If you train with people stick together. If you split up have a plan. We’ve learnt our lesson.
