Kelly of the Arctic

I often get asked why I do some of the mad sports events that I do. Many of them start by, my friend and colleague, Mark Kelly reading about some hair brained thing and egging me on. Well this time he’s picked something you won’t catch me doing. He’s recently departed on his second expedition within the arctic circle.

Mark and his companion Mark Wood are attempting to trek from the highest Inuit settlement back to Resolute Bay by ski and foot, a first for any westerners. They’ll be tackling sea ice, ice rubble and snow covered hills whilst pulling 80 kilos of kit.

To find out more and follow their progress checkout the Snowball Expeditions site.

Good luck to them both; I hope they are successful and come back safely.
