Winter training and future plans
Life’s caught up with me in recent months as post Ironman I’ve let it fill the training void. I said to myself that I’d cut back on the training but it’s become such a big part of my life that it doesn’t feel right.
I’ve not completely stopped training, I’ve just gone into tick over mode as I settle into a new job.
2011 is going to be about Windsor and London triathlons. Running is my weakest leg so I’ve been doing track session with Stratford AC. It’s been hard work but I’m getting quicker. Alongside running circuits and masters sessions form the backbone of my weekly training.
Tonight I sat down and entered my usual motivating events. The Cheshire Cat, Regency 10k and the Stratford half. Starting in the spring and going through to early summer they prove sufficient target to get me through winter training.
Also on the radar is La Marmotte. If the logistics work out then it’s a go and it’ll provide the drive to maintain the cycle training.

I appreciate any and all serious feedback, especially if you feel strongly about something I have written about.
