Day 1 – Lady luck smiles on us
Its 11pm local time (3am uk time) and the first day’s about to end. I can’t believe how well things have gone today.
After sad goodbyes at the airport we got bumped up a class upon boarding. On the way to boarding we bumped into Michael Caine; who we later saw on our flight. The upgrade gave us extra leg room and better, well, everything! It made the flight a relaxing experience.
After landing we were given superb travel advice from a charity info service based in the terminal. We managed to get to our hotel for less than £2pp via a superb bus and subway link.
At arival at our accommodation we were told it was full but arrangements had been made for a “better” room down town. All I can say is that’s it deffinately a room down town. Its chap and hopefully will stay chearful. the first guy I spoke to in reception said he used to go to school in Rugby, small world.
Ended the night exploring a few blocks close by. There’s a film festival going on, hence Michael Caine, so the center’s buzzing with events and shows.

I appreciate any and all serious feedback, especially if you feel strongly about something I have written about.
