Day 107 – End of the road

Not much to report today bar the scenic drive along the coast back to Sydney. We stopped off at one point to see a cliff road bridge but after a minor trek to find the viewing point we were left disappointed with the view. Botany Bay was a shock; from the monument marking Cook’s landing we gazed out upon the view of oil refineries and airport.

After making it through the traffic in time to drop the car off I headed back to Manly and Tom met up with some friends. The afternoon soon went as got some chores done and went for a run on the beach.

With it being tom’s last night we went out for food and beer. Unfortunately the Thai we wanted to go to was shut and the substitute we found gave poor service. Still the beer was cold and the view over the harbour sublime.
