USA roundup

The USA, was it all that I expected? Not exactly. The open road wasn’t quite as open, in the most, as I’d imagined. Driving on the interstate you’re inundated with advertising from billboards that rise above the trees. Services are immense, most of them were bigger than some of the towns we visited.

Favourite places from the East Coast were Chicago, the Smokies, Washington and the drive through Delaware and down the coast.

Favourite places on the West Coast were Route 1 (where every other car is a Mustang), San Francisco, Yosemite and Death Valley.

Based on the places I visited I’d say that I preferred the West Coast. Think its much more cosmopolitan and easier to get around.
